Quote of the Day: Aristotle on Socialism

by Cory Doggett on January 14, 2010

in Corruption, Quotes, Socialism

“What belongs in common to the most people is accorded the least care: they take thought for their own things above all, and less about things in common, or only so much as falls to each individually.” – Aristotle

Aristotle Rembrandt

Now that the products of the the American People’s labor has become the property of the community, the massive waste that we hear of from the federal government is given very little notice by the average person as long as it’s somebody else’s taxes being raised. If a corporate CEO wasted shareholder’s money in this way the American People would be demanding “justice”. Both the right and the left would be screaming for new laws to criminalize this activity.

Both Republicans and Democrats equally spend the taxpayer’s money on their favorite pet social engineering projects without a care in the world.  The silence from their constituents is deafening.  The politicos just point across the aisle and say “he did it too!”  If you think about it, it’s extremely comical.  The pot is calling the pot black.
